Those wishing to participate in programs/projects must submit applications only in Georgian.

Obligations and the documents to be submitted

The completed application form (in the case of branding eligibility, the branding readiness questionnaire) and accompanying documentation may be submitted in physical form at the central office of the Rural Development Agency, regional offices, or information-consultation centers.

In addition, the aforementioned documentation may be submitted to the Agency’s e-mail: document@rda.gov.ge  .

The documentation must be accompanied by an application regarding the submission of a new application.


The participant is obliged to:

  • Ensure the implementation and certification of international food safety management systems/standards within no more than 36 months from the date of signing the contract;
  • Ensure the creation of branding and packaging design within no more than 18 months from the date of signing the relevant purpose agreement;
  • Not to sell or transfer equipment required for product branding/final commercial appearance within 24 months after receiving the co-funding specified in the relevant purpose agreement;
  • In the case of co-funding for foreign consultant services, submit to the Agency a detailed report on the activities and recommendations provided by the consultant/technical consultant to confirm the fulfillment of the obligations stipulated by the contract;
  • Ensure that the consultant and/or technical consultant conducts at least a one-day training course for persons determined by the Agency and prepares relevant presentation materials on product storage/transportation and/or the production of the respective crop.
