In Berlin, at the international exhibition “Green Week,” the Georgian pavilion was opened
With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and organized by the Rural Development Agency, at the “Green Week” exhibition in Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany, fifteen Georgian companies presented their domestically produced agri-food products to visitors.
The Georgian pavilion featured products from the companies: Terra Kisi, Hobi, Akto, Achinebuli, Britsa, Sanvine, Tiemti, Teliani Valley, Chelti, Toreli, Meister Brew, Georgian Natural Product, Alpha Group, Art Wine, and Milmart, including wine, spirits, organic juices, honey, spices, and canned fruit and vegetable products. Visitors to the Georgian stand also had the opportunity to taste Georgian dishes.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency Giorgi Avaliani and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Georgia to the Federal Republic of Germany Alexander Kartozia.
“The Rural Development Agency plans this year to organize pavilions at 11 international exhibitions in 10 countries and to give Georgian companies the opportunity to introduce their domestically produced agri-food products to hundreds of thousands of consumers. International exhibitions are a unique opportunity for Georgian agri-food companies to establish new business connections and to strengthen Georgia’s image as a producer of high-quality agricultural products,” said Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency Giorgi Avaliani.
“Green Week” is one of the largest exhibitions in the world, covering the agriculture, food, and horticulture sectors.
The National Tourism Administration of Georgia is also participating in the exhibition, presenting Georgia’s tourism products and destinations to visitors.
The international exhibition opened on January 16 and will end on January 25. This year, more than 1,600 local and international companies from over 50 countries are participating in the exhibition.
