International Exebition - Green Week 2024

Receiving applications for the exhibition selection contest had ended

On January 19 - 28, 2024, the international exhibition "Green Week" will be held in Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany.

More than 1,400 companies from 61 countries participate in the exhibition. Green Week is the leading international trade fair for food, agriculture and horticulture. Manufacturers from all over the world present a wide range of products during the ten days.

The fair is also the venue for the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) organized by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. The GFFA is the leading international conference on key issues for the future of the global agriculture and food industry. The highlight is the meeting of more than 70 ministers of agriculture.

By the organization of the NNLE Rural Development Agency, only processing companies producing beverages or/and food will be able to participate in the exhibition.

In order to participate in exhibition selection contest, a candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • The annual turnover of last calendar year should amount of no less than 50,000 and no more than 20,000,000 GEL;
  • Products produced should comply with the content of the international exhibition;
  • Should not have violated the terms of the agreement while participating in the international exhibitions held during the previous one calendar year;
  • Should have no ongoing court, enforcement or other legal proceedings/dispute with the Agency;
  • Should have no tax indebtedness to the state.

In case of complying with compliance criteria, the evaluation will be done assigning points to the relevant indicators:

2.       Is the holder of the certificate of international food safety management systems / standards  2.5
3.       Is in process of adopting / development of international food safety management systems / standards 0.5
4.       Has exported products corresponding to the content of the exhibition 2

In order to participate in the exhibition selection contest, the following documents should be submitted to the e-mail exhibitions@rda.gov.ge , To identify the application, specify the name of the exhibition in the required "subject" field.

  • Completed application form;
  • Copy of ID document of authorized individual;
  • Extract from the Registry of Non-Entrepreneurial (Non-Commercial) Legal Entities;
  • Reference from LEPL – Revenue Service on absence of debt(unless the payment of tax debt to the state is postponed or the obligation to pay it is suspended based on the law);
  • Document proving the annual turnover of the beneficiary, issued by the LEPL Revenue Service;
  • Certificate of international food safety management systems / standards (if any);
  • Document proving the ongoing process for adopting / implementing the international food safety management systems / standards (if any);
  • Document proving the export procedures (if any);
  • Other additional documentation if required by the Agency.

For participation in international exhibition your evaluation should not be at least 3 points. In case of equal points, the principle of order will apply when selecting companies.

In case of your compliance with relevant terms of the program, the information on preparation of an agreement will be submitted to you by the Agency. 

In case of successful passing of competition, you should become the members of Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA), in this respect the corresponding completed form should be sent to the organization mentioned. Membership fee of the association amounts to 1,500 Euro per annum. Additional information will be submitted by the Agency to the selected candidates.
