Those wishing to participate in programs/projects must submit applications only in Georgian.

To participate in the project, a potential beneficiary must meet the following criteria:

  • A natural or legal person with whom a funding/co-funding agreement has been concluded or may be concluded within the framework of the Agency’s projects/programs, or an agricultural cooperative with whom a funding/co-funding agreement has not been concluded within the framework of the Agency’s projects/programs but may be concluded, or a potential beneficiary of the co-funding purpose for the services of a foreign consultant – a non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entity (association) established by at least 10 persons and/or an agricultural status cooperative and/or a membership-based legal entity under public law established by at least 10 persons on the basis of the Law of Georgia on Water Users’ Organizations and the Law of Georgia on Legal Entities under Public Law, with whom an agreement may be concluded;
  • Must be registered in the “Farm/Farmers Registration Project” registry;
  • A potential beneficiary of the co-funding purpose for the services of a foreign consultant and/or its member(s) and/or the member-shareholder(s) and/or shareholders, who have requested consultant co-funding through the application, must have:
  • In the case of perennial crops, an orchard(s) of a single crop of at least 50 hectares, and in the case of berry crops, an orchard of at least 30 hectares. The perennial crop orchards (except for those crops not included in the State Program “Plant the Future” approved by the Government of Georgia Decree No. 56 of February 12, 2015, “On the Approval of the State Program – Plant the Future” (hereinafter – the State Program “Plant the Future”)) must be established within the framework of the State Program “Plant the Future” or in accordance with the standards defined by the State Program “Plant the Future”;
  • For potato or cereal annual crops, land area(s) for a single crop production of at least 100 hectares, and for vegetable or melon annual crops, land area(s) for a single crop production of at least 50 hectares;
  • In the case of a greenhouse, a greenhouse farm of at least hectare;
  • For technical consultant co-funding, a storage infrastructure with a capacity of at least 2,000 tons;
  • A potential beneficiary of the co-funding purpose for the services of a foreign consultant must have an agronomist.

Criteria for the qualification of the consultant and technical consultant:

  • The consultant must have education in the field of plant cultivation and care and/or post-harvest technologies;
  • Must have at least years of consulting and/or scientific and/or practical work experience, as well as at least five documented consultations conducted within the last five years prior to the application submission date, in the area of crop production or post-harvest technologies requested by the potential beneficiary of the foreign consultant service co-funding purpose.
