Under the Program, cooperatives will receive 70% of the equipment provided by the Program, but not more than 30,000 GEL per beneficiary.
Cooperatives with less than 50% of the shareholders of which are women, people with disabilities or IDPs will receive a co-financing of no more than 80% of the equipment provided by the Program, but not more than GEL 30,000 per beneficiary.
In the villages adjacent to the dividing line or in the highland settlements, the cooperatives will receive a co-financing of not more than 80% of the equipment provided by the Program, but not more than 30,000 GEL per beneficiary.
The following equipment will be funded under the Program:
• Wooden (Ruth - 10-frame, with two nests and two pantry bodies, complete with 20 nest frames; Dadan - 10-frame, with two nests and one pantry body, complete with 20 nest frames) or/and foamed polystyrene (two-layer Dadan-Blatt beehive of polystyrene material) beehives;
- Honey extractor (brace);
- Honey storage tank;
- Honeycomb slicing knife with electric heater;
- Honeycomb slices tank;
- Electrode voltage converter from 220V to 12V.
The beneficiary, who has already been delivered the beehives under this Program, is obliged to increase the number of beehives owned by him/her by the same amount as the requested before submitting the application.
The Agency ensures the registration / inventory of beehives of both owned by the beneficiary or purchased with the co-financing; the rules will be determined by the Agency.
The beneficiary, if the conditions provided by the Program are met, can request any equipment he / she wants within the co-financing component, both together and separately.
