The event features a historical pavilion of Rustavi, where replicas of exhibits discovered in the city are displayed. An informational wall related to the Rustavi floodplain forest has been arranged, children's performances are being held, and local performers will appear on stage throughout the day. Photo zones have also been arranged for taking memorable pictures.
Within the framework of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, events dedicated to May 26 are also being held in the city of Poti, where the Agency of Protected Areas is conducting environmental and educational activities, and in the city of Ambrolauri, where the National Wine Agency is offering guests Georgian wine tastings and cultural-educational programs.
Georgia’s Independence Day is being celebrated throughout the country with various events organized by the Government Administration. This year’s events are being held under the concept: “For 1700 years, faith has strengthened us – love unites us,” dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the declaration of Christianity as the state religion.
At 17:10, the historical time of the declaration of Georgia’s independence will be marked by the performance of the national anthem, and the event will conclude with a gala concert.
