Internship

Rural Development Agency implements projects and programs initiated by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, carries out extension activities in the field of agriculture in 54 municipalities of the country. The goal of the agency is to promote rural and agricultural development.

In Imereti - Zestaponi, Baghdati, Vani, Terjola, Samtredia, Sachkhere, Tkibuli, Tskaltubo, Chiatura, Kharagauli, Khoni,

in Kakheti - Telavi, Akhmeta, Gurjaani, Dedoflistskaro, Lagodekhi, Sagarejo, Signagi, Kvareli;

In Mtskheta-Mtianeti - Mtskheta, Dusheti, Tianeti, Kazbegi;

In Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo (lower) Svaneti - Ambrolauri, Lentekhi, Oni, Tsageri;

In Samegrelo-Zemo (upper) Svaneti - Zugdidi, Abasha, Martvili, Mestia, Senaki, Chkhorotsku, Tsalenjikha, Khobi;

In Samtskhe-Javakheti - Akhaltsikhe, Adigeni, Aspindza, Akhalkalaki, Borjomi, Ninotsminda,

In Kvemo Kartli - Marneuli, Bolnisi, Gardabani, Dmanisi, Tetritskaro, Tsalka; In Shida Kartli - Gori, Kaspi, Kareli, Khashuri.

We offer the persons interested in agriculture to gain experience in the following activities:

• Searching, processing, analysis of operational data as regard to the crop yields on the agricultural land plots;
• Providing the information about ongoing projects/programs at the Agency to the farmers and other stakeholders;
• Providing agricultural extension and other necessary recommendations through office, field and phone consultations;
• Planning/coordinating field and office meetings for the events to be held by the Agency in the region/Municipality

Duration of the internship: 1-6 months

Schedule: incomplete/by agreement

The internship is unpaid.

 Requirements for the candidate:

• At least a 2nd –year student;
• Knowledge of computer office programs;
• Sociable;
• Responsible;
• Organized;

 Preference will be given to graduates / students in the field of agriculture.
