Farmers interested in establishing perennial orchards may submit applications to participate in the “Plant the Future” program to the Rural Development Agency until February 28 of the current year

Within the orchard component of the “Plant the Future” program, financing covers up to 70% of the cost of purchased seedlings. For agricultural-status cooperatives, as well as for villages adjacent to the dividing line and high-mountain settlements, funding covers up to 80%.

As for drip irrigation systems, in accordance with the program conditions, co-financing for 0.5 hectares amounts to 50% of the cost, but no more than GEL 1,250. For agricultural-status cooperatives, villages adjacent to the dividing line, and high-mountain settlements, the co-financing rate is up to 60%, but no more than GEL 1,500.

Participation in the program is permitted multiple times for one individual; however, the total amount of funding received must not exceed GEL 500,000, and GEL 750,000 in the case of blueberries.

Under the program, funding may be provided for the establishment of perennial crop orchards on a minimum area of 0.5 hectares and a maximum of 50 hectares.

Participation in the program is available to citizens of Georgia, as well as to individual entrepreneurs and/or legal entities (including agricultural cooperatives) registered in Georgia in accordance with Georgian legislation, in which the state does not hold a share/unit/stock, except for legal entities in which JSC “Partnership Fund” holds shares, units, or stocks directly or indirectly.

Receiving applications for the program started on November 10, 2025. As of January 26, 2026, 206 applications have been received, and co-financing agreements have been signed with 128 beneficiaries.

Applications to the program are accepted electronically via the official website of the Rural Development Agency.
