Local and international companies participated in the exhibition.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Giorgi Avaliani, Acting Director of the Rural Development Agency, Nika Urushadze, Acting Deputy Director, and Davit Charkviani, Counselor of the Embassy of Georgia in the USA.
“At the initiative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, the Rural Development Agency is participating in the ninth international exhibition this year, including the international exhibition “U.S. Private Label Trade Show 2026” held in Chicago, USA. Interest in Georgian products is very high. Georgia has been participating in this exhibition for the fourth year. We have had interesting results in previous years. We believe that this year’s exhibition will also be successful for Georgian companies,” said Giorgi Avaliani, Acting Director of the Rural Development Agency.
Within the framework of participation in exhibitions of this scale, manufacturers are given the opportunity to establish new contacts and increase export opportunities.
It is noteworthy that in 2024, as a result of business ties established at international exhibitions, Georgian companies exported products worth more than 10 million GEL. The organization of the exhibitions by the Rural Development Agency was financed with approximately 2 million GEL.
