Rural Development Agency to Organise Georgian Pavilions at 11 International Exhibitions in 2026

The Rural Development Agency has presented a list of international exhibitions planned for 2026, in which representatives of Georgia’s agri-food sector are expected to participate.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Lasha Dolidze, Director of the Rural Development Agency Zurab Gozalishvili, and representatives of agri-food producing companies.

In 2026, Georgian pavilions are planned to be organised at 11 international exhibitions. It is noteworthy that next year the Rural Development Agency will participate for the first time in the international exhibition Saudi Food Show in Saudi Arabia, Anuga India in India, and Hospitality Qatar in Qatar.

The meeting participants discussed the support mechanisms needed by agri-food producers to increase the visibility of Georgian products on various trade platforms and to diversify markets.

“The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, through the Rural Development Agency, continues to support both primary and processing production through various instruments. This includes mechanisms for financing, dissemination of modern knowledge, support in establishing presence in new markets, and strengthening positions in existing export markets. We received certain opinions from agri-food producing companies regarding the directions in which state support should continue. We have noted all of this, will take it into account, and will implement more effective mechanisms in the future,” said Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Lasha Dolidze.

Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency Giorgi Avaliani spoke in detail about the conditions for participation in international exhibitions, selection criteria, and the support mechanisms offered by the Agency to participating companies.

In 2026, the Rural Development Agency plans to participate in 11 international exhibitions in 10 countries, including Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, China, India, Qatar, Spain, and the United States of America.
