Co-financing for drip irrigation systems arrangement
To receive co-financing you can submit a completed application form along with the accompanying documentation:
- In physical form — to the central office of the Rural Development Agency or the relevant regional office;
- Electronically — to the agency’s e-mail address: document@rda.gov.ge

The cost of installing a drip irrigation system will be subsidized on agricultural land plots where the establishment of a multi-year orchard has not been financed and/or requested under the orchard component of this program, for physical and legal entities – up to 50%, but not exceeding 1,250 GEL per 0.5 ha, and for agricultural cooperatives, villages near the conflict line, and high-altitude settlements – up to 60%, but not exceeding 1,500 GEL per 0.5 ha.
Note: The following are not financed: Unforeseen/other costs; Planned accumulation; Overhead costs.
Under this component, one beneficiary may receive funding for the installation of up to 50 ha of drip irrigation systems.
In order to sign an agreement between the Agency and the potential beneficiary, the potential beneficiary must submit the following documents: "What should an invoice contain?"
- Completed application form;
- Extract from the registry of entrepreneurs and non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities (for legal entities);
- Copy of the identification document:
- For legal entities - of the director/responsible person; For physical persons/individual entrepreneurs - of the landowner and the responsible person;
- Document proving ownership of the land plot (extract from the public registry and cadastral map); In case of lease, the lease agreement must be submitted along with the extract. (The remaining lease period must be at least 10 years, and the lease agreement must be registered with the Public Registry of the National Agency);
- Invoice and/or contract in Georgian/notarized translation into Georgian from the company installing the drip irrigation system;
- Conclusion issued by the relevant structural unit of the Agency or the Ministry of Agriculture of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara confirming that the land plot is water-supplied. This document is not mandatory if the installation of the anti-hail systems and/or well/drilling/drip irrigation systems has been co-financed by the Agency, and the purposefulness has been confirmed;
- A conclusion from the LEPL – Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau or a report issued by persons registered in the Public Registry regarding the compliance of the orchards existing on the land specified in the application with the conditions defined by the orchard component of this program.
Except for the case when a garden has been planted on the land plot requested in the application with the Agency's co-financing within the framework of the Gardens Component and the fulfillment of the purpose has been confirmed to the Agency three months prior to the submission of the application. - Beneficiary's bank details.
The cost of installing a drip irrigation system will be financed only after the beneficiary submits a conclusion from the LEPL – Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau or a report issued by persons registered in the Public Registry who have been granted the authority to conduct mandatory audits as a result of the quality management system monitoring carried out by the Service, which must confirm the fulfillment of the purpose of installing the drip irrigation system.
